Normally the trivet is stored away after a meal ends, because it has fulfilled its main purpose as an object providing heat protection during food serving. When not in use Lollydog does not communicate 'trivet' or 'kitchen-equipment', but is simply a small unintelligible object, reminiscent of other unrelated objects and artifacts. Its simple form is based on the principle of having a triangle supporting a circle - something which makes for a sturdy trivet on an uneven table or other surface.

The product can be produced in either stained wood, silicone or a plastic with a medium/high Shore hardness.

Material (prototype): painted oak.
